Fall, Food, Friends

I have no Italian blood that I know of.  However, the Italian culture is very much a part of who I’ve become.  I love Sunday Suppers.  The Italian mothers cook all day Sunday and the family comes over to enjoy her labor of love. Sunday night just seems like the perfect time to celebrate the…

Legally and Lovingly Married!!!

Those that saw my last post recall I was in California this week.  Malibu has to be in the top ten most beautiful spots in the USA.  After some issues with the initial home rental I found this one and it proved to be much more than we would’ve ever hoped for.  Here’s the house…

Coast-to-Coast

I’m sitting in a glass room on Pacific Coast Highway with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean.  Before we get to why I’m in this setting I have to go back to Friday.  The weekend began with another trip to South Carolina; Columbia this time. Friday evening we celebrated the birthday day of a…

Staycation…

Since May I’ve traveled to eight cities in seven states and from the Pacific Ocean to the Great Smoky Mountains.  We thought about several travel options for the holiday weekend but ended up at our lovely loft in downtown Memphis…which we seldom see anymore.  The farm in Byhalia is becoming more and more like home….

It’s not done…

’til it’s OVERDONE!!! I’ve been back to East Tennessee to do an event with my dear friend.  The event was called “Festival of Tables” and it was the first time the organization had done an event of this type. Tables were assigned to a designer and a hostess and tickets were sold to come view…

…end of summer

While I certainly still the feel the heat and humidity of summer on the farm in Mississippi my summer activities ended this weekend in Indianapolis, IN. Again, many have asked where I’ve been and complained about the lack of communication.  I understand why my cousin at Bake or Break  made blogging into a career.  I find…
