The joy of the holidays continued last week and more to come this week. Admittedly, I’m not the outdoor designer. However, given some garland, lights and ribbon I do my best…in 27 degrees. No matter the weather it’s always joyful to bring the Christmas magic…indoors or out.
Inside the entry to this warm home you are greeted by a little Christmas on most surfaces and on everything where CHEER can be strung.
Family treasures find special places throughout the home.
And finally, the family tree is resplendent in all it’s red and green glory. More than 25 years of Christmas memories and hundreds of ornaments adorn a fresh fir wrapped in ribbons, glass garlands and sparkling lights. The joys of the holidays and the love of community and family are seen in every treasured decoration.
…and this home is officially Merry and Bright!!!
Mercy, all that decorating worked up a powerful hunger.
Mitch at The Neon Pig in Tupelo never disappoints…Bash Burger, Seared Scallop and Swimming Cuisses de Grenouilles…wait, wait, wait…am I really in Tupelo, MS. What an incredible lunch.
Finally, a preview of things to come…
More about this tomorrow…
Until then, I hope your house is lovely and that you’re looking forward to a good time being had by all.
